Description

  • Lead, mentor, and manage four Information Security Engineers while setting priorities and coordinating workloads.
  • Own and improve incident management, including investigation, response, and resolution.
  • Enhance threat detection, SIEM alerting, incident response playbooks, and email security.
  • Develop and monitor security policies, standards, guides, and protective measures.
  • Improve security tools, processes, operational efficiency, and assurance across the business.
  • Monitor and improve cloud security configurations across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud using CSPM tools.
  • Collaborate with DevOps to integrate security into cloud environments, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, security reviews, and risk-based prioritization.
  • Strengthen logging, monitoring, visibility, and evidence collection across corporate and production systems.
  • Develop team capabilities and security best practices in response to evolving threats.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in SecOps, cloud security, incident response, security engineering, or a similar field.
  • Experience leading or managing a security team; managing a similarly sized team is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in threat analysis, SIEM alert investigation, detection engineering, noise reduction, and incident management.
  • 2+ years of experience using CSPM tools.
  • 3+ years of experience at a cloud-based, global technology product company.
  • Hands-on experience with EDR/XDR tools and endpoint investigation.
  • Experience with vulnerability management and risk-based prioritization.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles and experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Ability to combine technical expertise with people leadership and team development.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
