Description

  • Ensure the quality of every release and decide whether work is ready for launch.
  • Participate in the development process from requirements capture and estimation through final testing and release.
  • Test web and Android/iOS platforms using black box, white box, integration, and performance approaches.
  • Create automated test cases for web, mobile, and API coverage.
  • Develop automated tests and test frameworks to support quality engineering.
  • Track, analyse, and improve automated test efficiency and the Continuous Integration pipeline.
  • Record and analyse product issues, then share feedback with relevant team members to drive fixes.
  • Write test plans, test cases, and test reports based on feature requirements.
  • Review designs and code from other team members and provide constructive feedback.
  • Mentor less experienced team members and help improve quality processes across engineering.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of testing experience.
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong experience with Python.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with manual testing on Web, Android, and iOS platforms.
  • Experience developing and running a Continuous Integration system.
  • Familiarity with automation testing for REST APIs.
  • Experience with web debugging and API testing tools such as Chrome DevTools and Postman.
  • Solid understanding of unit, integration, end-to-end, regression, stress/performance, and API testing.
  • Experience with test automation for mobile apps on Android and iOS.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, preferably MySQL.
  • Advantageous: familiarity with Jira and Jenkins.
  • Advantageous: experience with Java.
  • Advantageous: working knowledge of NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB.
