Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust public and internal APIs for payments, subscriptions, authentication, consumption tracking, and text-to-speech.
  • Oversee and optimize the backend API landscape for performance and maintainability.
  • Build and maintain backend services that support business and scalability requirements.
  • Collaborate on B2B solutions, including customization and integration for enterprise clients.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.
  • Contribute to product decisions in a fast-paced, strategic environment.
  • Own backend systems across the platform team’s scope, including analytics, subscriptions, and new products.

Requirements

  • Proven backend development experience with TS/Node (required).
  • Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks by urgency and impact and execute efficiently from ideation through implementation.
  • Preferred experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
  • Preferred experience deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes.
  • Strong communication skills and solid work ethic.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, flat, fully distributed environment.
