Description

  • Collaborate with product teams to scope projects and reduce scope to accelerate customer feedback.
  • Navigate integration and UX tradeoffs across different product teams.
  • Deliver solutions through Speechify’s cross-platform SDK.
  • Optimize existing functionality to improve loading speed and parsing performance.
  • Design more efficient abstractions and improve algorithms.
  • Build cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs in Kotlin.
  • Work at the intersection of product and infrastructure to improve the overall user experience.

Requirements

  • Experience with systems thinking and end-to-end design.
  • Ability to work quickly, generate options, and decide what can ship now versus later.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, remote, high-growth startup environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills with designers, marketers, and product managers.
  • Preferred experience with Kotlin Multiplatform.
  • Java experience is acceptable, but the role is focused on Kotlin Multiplatform.
  • Prior experience with GCP is a plus.
  • Ability to provide links to a portfolio and LinkedIn when applying.
