Description

  • Collaborate with product teams to scope projects and deliver solutions through the cross-platform SDK.
  • Reduce project scope when appropriate to get faster customer feedback.
  • Navigate integration and UX tradeoffs across different product teams.
  • Design and optimize abstractions and algorithms to improve performance and parsing.
  • Build cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.
  • Help maintain the foundational services and SDKs that support Speechify’s product experience across platforms.

Requirements

  • Systems thinking with an emphasis on end-to-end design and simplicity.
  • Ability to work quickly, generate options, and make pragmatic shipping decisions.
  • Ability to stay focused and know when to engage versus work independently in a remote startup environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills for working with designers, marketers, and product managers.
  • Preferred experience with Kotlin Multiplatform; Java experience is acceptable.
  • Prior experience with GCP is a plus.
  • Experience working at the intersection of product and infrastructure is preferred.
  • Must include links to your portfolio and LinkedIn when applying.
