Description

  • Ensure training labs are available and functional across all course offerings.
  • Partner with Course Architects to design hands-on labs that align with course content and objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure lab activities support training goals and practical participant experiences.
  • Develop proof-of-concept labs using Ansible playbooks to automate lab deployment and configuration.
  • Build scalable, repeatable, and well-documented lab environments for training delivery.
  • Lead CTF product development efforts, including project planning, scheduling, client communication, and deadline management.
  • Deploy labs into cloud environments such as AWS and OpenStack so participants can access them during training.
  • Create and maintain lab documentation, including setup instructions, troubleshooting guides, and lab manuals.
  • Provide technical support to instructors and participants during training sessions.
  • Conduct testing and quality assurance to keep labs functional and error-free.

Requirements

  • Experience with automated infrastructure and configuration tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
  • Experience balancing multiple projects at once.
  • Experience communicating with clients and delivering presentations.
  • Experience independently managing internal projects.
  • Experience scoping prospective engagements and participating in technical testing from kickoff through remediation.
  • Experience mentoring less experienced staff.
  • Ability to coordinate and prepare for internal and customer-facing meetings.
  • Ability to lead projects for infrastructure development, automated deployments, and technology maintenance.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity concepts.
  • Ability to work and reside in the United States; no visa sponsorship is available.
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally 10-25% over the course of a year.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (nice to have).
  • Experience participating in and/or leading Fortune 1000 and/or large Federal Government security assessments (nice to have).
  • Public community contributions such as conference presentations, blog posts, white papers, or public tool development (nice to have).
  • Experience administering, attacking, or defending Windows/Active Directory, Linux, and/or macOS environments (nice to have).
  • Experience in technical writing (nice to have).
  • Experience working for a service-based information security consultancy (nice to have).
  • Experience developing and/or providing technical training (nice to have).
  • Desire to teach and train students in offensive techniques (nice to have).
  • Desire to travel internationally and domestically on a more frequent basis (nice to have).

  • Base salary of $145,000 to $175,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
