Description

  • Plan and conduct offensive security engagements of varying size, scope, focus, and approach.
  • Communicate findings, attack paths, recommendations, and strategy to technical and executive stakeholders through reports and presentations.
  • Build scripts, tools, and methodologies that improve offensive services.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in a specialized offensive security area.
  • Use common offensive security testing tools and tradecraft during engagements.
  • Stay current on adversary tradecraft, vulnerabilities, and emerging techniques.
  • Communicate progress, successes, and blockers with teammates and team leads.
  • Interface professionally with clients and internal staff throughout engagements.
  • Assist with scoping, kickoff, testing, remediation, and mentoring on client projects.
  • Train team members in adversary TTPs and tools.
  • Develop or improve training content and support delivery of courses.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work and reside in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% annually.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Working knowledge of offensive security concepts and assessments.
  • Working knowledge of security principles, policies, and industry best practices.
  • Working knowledge of Windows and *NIX-based operating systems.
  • Working knowledge of networking concepts and Active Directory.
  • Working knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as C#/.NET, C++, Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Aptitude for technical writing, including assessment reports, presentations, and operating procedures.
  • Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to independently contribute to significant services and projects, lead small teams, and manage multiple projects with limited supervision.
  • Willingness to lead and execute offensive security service offerings and develop/deliver training content.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (preferred).
  • Experience participating in or leading Fortune 1000 or large Federal Government security assessments (preferred).
  • Public community contributions such as conference presentations, blog posts, white papers, or public tool development (preferred).
  • Experience administering, attacking, or defending Windows/Active Directory, Linux, and/or macOS environments (preferred).
  • Experience working for a service-based information security consultancy (preferred).
  • Experience developing and/or providing technical training (preferred).
