Description

  • Lead the implementation, modernization, and optimization of enterprise data protection environments.
  • Design and configure backup platform architectures to improve data protection outcomes.
  • Deploy data center and cloud data protection technologies across customer environments.
  • Plan and execute disaster recovery testing, orchestration, and validation activities.
  • Troubleshoot complex data protection, connectivity, and infrastructure issues.
  • Develop solution designs, implementation plans, operational procedures, and knowledge transfer documentation.
  • Serve as a technical point of contact during delivery engagements, cutovers, status meetings, and escalations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, account teams, and customer stakeholders to align scope and delivery outcomes.
  • Perform performance tuning and capacity management for backup infrastructure.
  • Provide post-implementation knowledge transfer, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement recommendations.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience delivering enterprise data protection infrastructure, ideally in consulting, professional services, or complex customer environments.
  • Strong experience with major data protection platforms including Cohesity, Commvault, Rubrik, and Dell Data Protection Suite.
  • Experience with SAN implementation and interoperability analysis.
  • Experience integrating data protection solutions with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex data protection and connectivity issues across multi-site, cloud, firewall, host, and infrastructure environments.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills for technical and business audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in client-facing delivery environments.
  • Working knowledge of AI, VMware, Linux, Unix, and Windows OS.
  • Strong presentation, diagramming, whiteboarding, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience with racking, stacking, and cabling hardware.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Must obtain required business-relevant data protection certifications.
