Description

  • Act as the security overlay on EMEA opportunities involving security, privacy, and compliance discussions.
  • Partner with Solutions Architects and Account Executives to support deployment model and BYOC security conversations.
  • Lead technical security discussions with CISOs, security architects, and GRC teams.
  • Design and validate secure ClickHouse Cloud and BYOC deployment patterns.
  • Run threat modeling and architecture reviews with customer security teams.
  • Own the security workstream through proof of concept and production readiness.
  • Serve as the field authority on compliance posture, including SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, DORA, and NIS2.
  • Improve and maintain security questionnaires, RFP security sections, DPIAs, and third-party risk review responses.
  • Build the EMEA security playbook and enable SAs and AEs to handle routine security questions.

Requirements

  • Significant customer-facing technical experience at a data platform, analytics, streaming, or database company.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud and data security, including IAM, key management, cryptography, network isolation, secure multi-tenancy, threat modeling, and audit.
  • Working knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
  • Comfort with EU regulatory requirements and compliance expectations.
  • Credibility with security buyers and experience speaking with CISOs.
  • Strong writing and overlay skills, including the ability to work through others and produce auditor-ready materials.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or CISM are preferred.
  • Hands-on security architecture experience across AWS, GCP, and Azure is preferred.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, telco, or the public sector is preferred.
