Description

  • Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing for web applications and services.
  • Analyze requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create test cases, scenarios, and expected results.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Postman, ReadyAPI, RestAssured, TestNG, or JUnit.
  • Build and maintain API test suites for REST and SOAP services.
  • Support automation frameworks, reusable components, CI/CD test execution, and troubleshooting of automation failures.
  • Identify, document, triage, retest, and close defects while collaborating with developers on root-cause analysis.
  • Create test data, capture test evidence, document results, and prepare test summary reports.
  • Perform database validation using SQL and support testing in AWS, cloud, and containerized environments.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, requirements reviews, design walkthroughs, peer reviews, and sprint planning.
  • Collaborate with QA engineers, developers, business analysts, product owners, and other project stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Approximately 1–3 years of experience in software testing, QA, software development, or a related technical role.
  • Hands-on experience with functional testing and test case development for web applications or APIs.
  • Experience with automation tools or frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, TestNG, or JUnit.
  • Working knowledge of API testing tools such as ReadyAPI, SoapUI, Postman, or RestAssured.
  • Basic to intermediate Java, JavaScript, or comparable programming and scripting experience.
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming, debugging, source control, code reviews, and automation code maintenance.
  • Familiarity with Git, Maven, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, relational databases, and SQL.
  • Exposure to AWS, cloud concepts, Docker or Kubernetes, and Agile/Scrum practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and have lived in the United States for at least 3 of the past 5 years.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Preferred: experience with Jira, Confluence, BDD/Cucumber, AI-assisted testing, or healthcare, government, CMS, or enterprise systems.
