Description

  • Conduct SQL-based and other analyses to identify customer issues and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations that improve outcomes.
  • Partner with teams across the business to understand workflows, identify gaps, and answer tactical business questions through analytical frameworks.
  • Define and develop department-level metrics and dashboards that measure operational health and drive change.
  • Build automation that reduces business risk and improves efficiency within Starlink Customer Operations and across functions.
  • Own data integrity, tool maintenance, and reporting quality for the Starlink Customer Operations team.
  • Train internal users and leaders on dashboards and tools, and support troubleshooting as needed.
  • Improve data capture for future customer operations use cases and collaborate with software development teams on table development.
  • Support new market launches, continuous improvement efforts, and broader cross-functional strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in reporting and analytics within customer operations, manufacturing, quality, human resources, purchasing, operations, cost accounting, supply chain management, or consulting.
  • 1+ years of experience with SQL and creating or managing dashboards using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, management information systems, computer science, engineering, or economics is preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Python or R is preferred.
  • SQL proficiency, including advanced joins, views versus table distinctions, and basic query optimizations, is preferred.
  • Advanced understanding of database structures, query optimizations, and ETL development is preferred.
  • Experience in a startup, consulting, or similarly high-growth, fast-paced, rapidly changing environment is preferred.
  • Strong project management and self-directed prioritization skills are preferred.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences at all organizational levels is preferred.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across disciplines and multiple levels of management is preferred.
  • Experience working with customer operations teams and tools such as ticketing, account management, and communications tools is preferred.
  • Position may involve long hours and weekend work as needed.
  • Position may require travel between company sites to support Starlink Customer Operations.
  • Applicant must meet ITAR eligibility requirements as a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or otherwise eligible for required U.S. Department of State authorization.
