Description

  • Own the design, architecture, health, and operational performance of network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Configure, maintain, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless networks, and related technologies.
  • Lead incident response, root cause analysis, corrective actions, maintenance, upgrades, and configuration changes.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop network team members; assign priorities, provide feedback, and oversee team processes.
  • Manage the 24/7 on-call rotation, coverage, escalation procedures, and participation in critical incident response.
  • Implement network security controls, segmentation, access controls, and compliance requirements in partnership with Security.
  • Lead network infrastructure projects, migrations, upgrades, automation, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Infrastructure, Security, Cloud, vendors, and stakeholders on technical solutions, procurement, and project priorities.
  • Maintain network documentation, diagrams, configurations, monitoring tools, and operating procedures.
  • Support hiring, recruitment, mentoring, and culture-building across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in network engineering, administration, or related infrastructure roles.
  • At least 1 year of experience managing, supervising, or leading a technical or network team.
  • Hands-on experience managing enterprise network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • CCNA and CCNP certifications required before employment.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Firepower and ASA firewalls, Dell OS10, and SonicOS platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, Cisco technologies, firewalls, VPNs, segmentation, and ITIL practices.
  • Working knowledge of Azure and/or AWS cloud networking; NGINX and Cloudflare experience preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, prioritization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must reside in the Eastern or Central time zone, in an approved U.S. state, have U.S. work authorization without sponsorship, support 24/7 on-call operations, and travel approximately 10%.

  • Base salary of $122,000–$140,000, plus equity where applicable and variable or incentive compensation.
