Description

  • Provide full-time project support for an enterprise healthcare customer.
  • Plan, design, implement, and operate network solutions using Extreme’s PDIO methodology.
  • Create architecture diagrams, configuration plans, prerequisites, UAT criteria, and Method of Procedure documentation.
  • Create and maintain project and implementation documentation.
  • Serve as the customer’s technical lead, trusted advisor, and ongoing engineering resource.
  • Coordinate implementation activities among the customer, sales, product management, engineering, GTAC, partners, and account teams.
  • Implement Extreme solutions and provide knowledge transfer to partners and customer teams.
  • Monitor customer issues and proactively escalate them to appropriate technical, success, account, and management teams.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of networking technology experience.
  • Proven experience implementing and maintaining Extreme Campus Fabric, EXOS switching, XIQ Site Engine, Extreme Control NAC, Extreme Analytics, VOSS, SPB Fabric, and XIQ wireless solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of at least five networking technologies, including NAC, DNS, DHCP, wireless, IPv4/IPv6, routing protocols, or Layer 2 switching.
  • Strong network troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills, including PCAP, Wireshark, and wireless RF analysis; Ekahau experience preferred.
  • Understanding of LDAP, RADIUS, and Active Directory for AAA in NAC environments.
  • Experience with security-related toolsets and mission-critical implementations with scheduled or zero downtime.
  • Ability to analyze customer requirements, manage complex interactions, coordinate across technical disciplines, and control expectations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication, teamwork, and customer-facing skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision; U.S. citizenship required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, equivalent experience, industry certifications, and Python or automation experience preferred.
