Description

  • Design, build, and refine complex pricing models in SQL and Looker to improve client savings projections.
  • Translate stakeholder business requirements into technical specifications for Enterprise Data Warehouse development and validation.
  • Coordinate with Data, Engineering, and Operations teams to align pricing logic with data architecture and product roadmaps.
  • Contribute to the Pricing Analytics codebase through development best practices, audit protocols, and code reviews.
  • Maintain a roadmap for pricing tool enhancements and create technical documentation for pipelines and internal logic.
  • Provide Tier 3 technical support for highly complex ad-hoc analyses and peak-volume submission work.
  • Perform deep-dive analyses on large datasets and present clear findings to internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate with internal and external partners using email, Slack, phone, video calls, and Jira.
  • Scope projects and develop self-service BI reporting and automation where appropriate.
  • Analyze existing reporting processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement solutions to improve operational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a data analytics or pricing-focused role.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, or Computer Science.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, CTEs, and optimization.
  • Experience with Looker (LookML), Tableau, or similar BI tools.
  • Familiarity with GitHub or version control tools is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Jira or other project management tools is highly preferred.
  • PBM or healthcare experience is a significant plus, especially with pharmacy claims data.
  • Ability to translate messy business requirements into clean, repeatable technical specifications.
  • Highly self-motivated, adaptable, and able to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in formulas and code.
  • Ability to facilitate technical discussions with engineers and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
