Description

  • Define and own product strategy for core CDR platform components, including ingestion pipelines, data quality, persistence, and administration capabilities.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to identify gaps between product capabilities and market or client needs in interoperability, performance, scalability, and standards compliance.
  • Translate architectural patterns and operational needs into clear, actionable product requirements.
  • Participate in architecture and code review discussions to validate feasibility, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Maintain deep technical understanding of the stack, including Java, HAPI FHIR, Kubernetes, Postgres, and Kafka, to evaluate trade-offs and guide prioritization.
  • Champion product capabilities for data quality, deduplication, enrichment, and lifecycle management across ingest and persistence flows.
  • Support backlog refinement and delivery oversight with technical context, architectural input, and prioritization guidance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate execution of the product roadmap and support product communication materials, training, demos, and sales enablement.
  • Conduct competitive research, host customer conversations, and present product capabilities internally and externally.
  • Serve as a technical resource to unblock delivery teams while balancing client requirements with architectural and operational considerations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Product Management, Software Engineering, Platform Product Ownership, or a related technical role.
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Health Informatics, or a related field with a strong technical component.
  • Proven experience delivering complex software products or platforms, ideally in healthcare or enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of FHIR, HAPI FHIR, RESTful API standards, data integration, ETL, data persistence patterns, OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, and healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 v2 and CDA.
  • Knowledge of terminology standards including LOINC, SNOMED, and ICD-10.
  • Experience with CI/CD, software release cycles, and the software development lifecycle.
  • Ability to review architecture and design proposals, translate use cases into technical requirements, and guide implementation discussions.
  • Ability to read, write, and reason through code well enough to understand architecture proposals, review pull requests, or validate technical decisions.
  • Consultative experience facilitating meetings and communications with executive-level clients, prospects, and partners.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering and architecture teams in cloud-native environments such as Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform.
  • Critical thinking skills with a creative, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented with strong time management and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with large-scale distributed systems or data platforms, preferred.
  • Familiarity with observability, logging, and system administration tools, preferred.
  • Prior experience in healthcare data platforms or interoperability systems is an asset.
