Description

  • Develop, test, and maintain cloud-native RESTful APIs using Python, Go, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Build and manage secure, efficient Docker container images and deployments.
  • Author, version, and maintain Helm charts for Kubernetes and OpenShift deployments, including upgrades and rollback support.
  • Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, monitoring, versioning, and documentation.
  • Monitor service performance, reliability, and scalability, addressing bottlenecks through caching, concurrency, resource controls, and autoscaling.
  • Develop and maintain serverless components using AWS CDK, Lambda, API Gateway, and ECS/Fargate.
  • Configure Kubernetes availability, fault tolerance, namespace isolation, networking, readiness probes, and resource limits.
  • Manage platform dependencies including PostgreSQL, Kafka, Grafana, and Elasticsearch using Helm or Operators.
  • Collaborate with security, operations, infrastructure, architecture, and platform teams to meet security, compliance, logging, monitoring, and auditing requirements.
  • Troubleshoot production and staging issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and maintain deployment and architecture documentation.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience in cloud development or infrastructure engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience designing and building SaaS applications and multi-cloud solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tooling such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • Working knowledge of public cloud SDKs and APIs, including Azure SDK, AWS SDK, or GCP SDK; Boto3 and AWS CDK preferred.
  • Strong experience building REST or GraphQL APIs with Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Strong knowledge of Docker and containerization, with experience deploying to Kubernetes and OpenShift.
  • Experience authoring and maintaining Helm charts and Operators for complex deployments.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Elasticsearch, or Loki.
  • Experience with AWS and Azure cloud hosting, Terraform, GitOps principles, cloud storage, secrets, and security services; strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
