Description

  • Build and maintain measurement frameworks for SEO and AEO performance, including visibility, keyword rankings, content gaps, and pipeline attribution.
  • Analyze Smartsheet’s visibility across AI search experiences such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Mode/Overview.
  • Translate performance data into clear priorities and recommendations for content and strategy teams.
  • Monitor algorithm changes, AI search trends, and competitive dynamics to inform planning.
  • Conduct audits of paid search and paid social accounts to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and ROI improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and execute testing strategies across ad copy, audiences, bidding approaches, and landing pages.
  • Partner with paid media leads on performance analysis, budget scenarios, and channel mix decisions.
  • Manage budget tracking, vendor invoice management, reconciliation, and reporting across paid channels.
  • Synthesize channel performance into concise narratives for senior stakeholders.
  • Partner with marketing operations, analytics, and finance to improve data infrastructure and measurement quality.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in demand generation, performance marketing, or digital marketing with hands-on experience in both paid media and SEO.
  • Deep working knowledge of paid search and paid social platforms, including Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Microsoft Ads.
  • Strong SEO expertise in keyword research, competitive analysis, on-page optimization, content gap analysis, and rank tracking.
  • Understanding of AEO and how AI search is changing organic visibility.
  • Proven ability to build performance frameworks and dashboards that connect channel activity to business outcomes, ideally including pipeline contribution.
  • Experience managing financial processes across paid channels, including budget tracking, reconciliation, and vendor billing.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work across large datasets and communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, including presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Comfort operating independently in a global, cross-functional environment and navigating ambiguity.
  • Experience with AEO tools or AI engine visibility tracking, such as AirOps or Profound, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with B2B SaaS demand generation and MQL/pipeline attribution models is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar SEO platforms is preferred.
  • Experience integrating paid and organic search efforts is preferred.
