Description

  • Lead the design, build, and operation of finance systems and workflows that support business execution at scale.
  • Drive end-to-end process improvements within the financial systems ecosystem, from analysis and prioritization through technical implementation.
  • Architect and support the integration of new subsidiaries and business ventures into the financial systems stack.
  • Implement system configurations that balance business logic with automated compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Mentor junior engineers on configuration quality, system design patterns, and technical best practices.
  • Partner with Product Managers and stakeholders to assess technical feasibility and translate business goals into system requirements and architecture.
  • Manage the deployment and maintenance lifecycle of third-party bundles and plugins to ensure compatibility and stability.
  • Design and execute testing frameworks, including unit, UAT, and regression testing, for new system solutions.
  • Design and enforce SOX and ITGC-aligned controls as part of system security and compliance.
  • Lead vendor engagements, participate in design and code reviews, and support incident response and root cause analysis.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in IT or financial systems configuration.
  • Experience supporting financial systems in a multi-company or multi-national environment.
  • Hands-on experience configuring, customizing, and implementing corporate applications such as NetSuite, Coupa, Avalara, and Stripe.
  • Experience with NetSuite REST/SOAP APIs, SuiteScript, or similar extensibility and integration patterns.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and automation concepts.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, including the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical users.
  • Proven ability to drive projects from concept through completion and work effectively across all levels of an organization.
  • Strong understanding of Agile processes.
  • Self-starter with strong follow-up skills and the ability to deliver within defined timelines.
  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis.
