Description

  • Lead front-end and full-stack projects from ambiguous problem statements through architecture, delivery, and measured outcomes.
  • Partner with product managers and designers to shape customer experiences and technical solutions.
  • Own performance, stability, accessibility, testing, and maintainability for shipped code.
  • Integrate web experiences with mobile apps, subscriptions, analytics, search, discovery, and loyalty platforms.
  • Use AI development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining engineering quality and personal judgment.
  • Partner with UX Design to define and scale the design system and UI component library.
  • Collaborate with analytics partners to implement tracking and evaluate product outcomes.
  • Document decisions and champion testing, documentation, and reusable team workflows.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience building and operating production web applications, with front-end development as the strongest area.
  • Deep JavaScript and TypeScript expertise and experience with a modern component framework such as React, Vue, or Svelte.
  • Experience with state management and performance optimization for consumer-facing applications.
  • Comfort working across APIs, data models, third-party integrations, CI, browser technologies, and infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn unfamiliar frameworks, languages, or platforms quickly.
  • Experience leading projects from vague requirements through delivery and collaborating across product, design, and engineering.
  • Strong product, design, communication, documentation, collaboration, and ownership skills.
  • Experience with Shopify, including Liquid, Online Store 2.0, Storefront and Cart APIs, or Checkout Extensions, preferred.
  • Experience with GraphQL, testing tools such as Vitest, Jest, Cypress, or Playwright, Git workflows, and CI tools such as GitHub Actions preferred.
  • Experience with ecommerce, subscription commerce, A/B testing, accessibility, design systems, or Alpine.js preferred.

  • $180,000–$215,000 salary range, plus annual incentive eligibility and equity.
