Description

  • Lead end-to-end technical design and delivery for customer acquisition, onboarding, offboarding, and revenue operations services.
  • Define architectures for high-throughput, fault-tolerant billing and metering pipelines.
  • Partner with Finance, RevOps, Sales, Support, and Product to translate business needs into scalable systems.
  • Build account lifecycle flows covering activation, expansion, plan changes, suspension, dunning, and offboarding.
  • Develop integrations that reconcile revenue data across CRM, support, analytics, and business intelligence systems.
  • Create customer-facing usage APIs, cost reporting, and billable-action metrics.
  • Implement data integrity controls, monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and operational runbooks.
  • Improve engineering quality through code reviews, design reviews, tooling, and operational readiness practices.
  • Mentor engineers, unblock execution, and improve customer and developer workflows.

Requirements

  • Significant experience designing and delivering production-grade backend systems, preferably in cloud environments.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one systems or backend language; Go is preferred.
  • Experience building and operating distributed systems involving concurrency, reliability, scaling, consistency, and failure handling.
  • Practical experience with data pipelines and storage systems such as PostgreSQL, Redshift, Kafka/Kinesis, and S3-like storage.
  • Experience integrating and reconciling third-party SaaS platforms, including idempotency, drift detection, and recovery mechanisms.
  • Experience with observability, incident response, performance tuning, continuous delivery, and on-call readiness.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous cross-functional requirements into clear technical plans.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including design documentation and stakeholder alignment.
  • Experience with technologies such as Kubernetes, ClickHouse, Stripe, Metronome, Salesforce, Segment, or cloud marketplace APIs is relevant.
  • Builder mindset focused on simplifying complex workflows and improving systems.
