Description

  • Own and improve the AWS and Kubernetes foundation used by the engineering team.
  • Design Terraform modules, Helm charts, and GitHub Actions workflows for the software platform.
  • Build and evolve infrastructure so it scales and is easy for engineers to use.
  • Implement monitoring, actionable alerts, and runbooks to support stable operations.
  • Develop platform capabilities with applications written in Go or Python.
  • Refactor internal code into reusable, versioned shared libraries and packages.
  • Design strategies for client data segregation while minimizing complexity.
  • Partner with security and product engineering to secure the CI/CD and software supply chain.
  • Provide runtimes, build pipelines, and deployment patterns for Node.js, React, and Next.js applications.
  • Stay current on tooling and best practices and bring improvements to the platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Full-lifecycle development and debugging experience in Python, Go, and JavaScript/TypeScript environments.
  • Proven experience in web-based software development.
  • Experience driving process improvements and simplifying deployment workflows.
  • Knowledge of platform engineering, data movement, API design standards, and operational best practices.
  • Experience organizing AWS applications in single-tenant configurations (nice to have).
  • Prior experience in the healthcare sector (nice to have).
  • Experience with AWS and Kubernetes (implied by the role).
  • Familiarity with GitOps, ArgoCD, DataDog, Postgres, DynamoDB, Docker, Snowflake, and ElasticSearch (from the tech stack).
