Description

  • Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure to improve scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency across environments.
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform for modular and consistent deployments.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines across application, data, and infrastructure layers.
  • Build and maintain Kubernetes workloads on EKS, including deployments, scaling, and production troubleshooting.
  • Work across AWS services including EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, VPCs, API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS/SNS, and Step Functions.
  • Manage and optimise data services such as RDS PostgreSQL and ClickHouse.
  • Automate infrastructure and environment setup using Packer and Ansible.
  • Implement and improve observability using CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, and centralized logging tools such as Splunk, Datadog, or ELK.
  • Collaborate with developers and data engineers to improve deployment workflows, reliability, and platform usability.
  • Support incident response, troubleshooting, and ongoing production system improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS across compute, networking, and serverless services.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, with GitLab preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments, with EKS preferred.
  • Solid understanding of containerisation and orchestration concepts.
  • Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting in production systems.
  • Experience with centralized observability platforms such as Splunk, Datadog, ELK, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of system reliability, scalability, and production operations.
  • Experience working across both Linux and Windows environments.
  • Hands-on experience building AMIs using Packer and configuration tools such as Ansible.
  • Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Ability to design systems and implement them hands-on in production environments.
  • Strong ownership mindset and the ability to operate in a small, fast-moving team.
  • Preferred: experience scaling or operating Kubernetes clusters at larger scale.
  • Preferred: exposure to multi-account AWS environments and cross-account IAM roles.
  • Preferred: experience with serverless and event-driven architectures.
  • Preferred: familiarity with PostgreSQL (RDS) and/or ClickHouse.
  • Preferred: exposure to real-time or streaming systems.
  • Preferred: experience with Unreal Engine workflows or Pixel Streaming infrastructure.
