Description

  • Own testing across the software delivery lifecycle, including requirements analysis and test strategy definition.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and execute TypeScript-based automated test suites and regression coverage.
  • Perform manual, exploratory, functional, UX, performance, and platform-specific testing.
  • Investigate, prioritize, and report defects across devices and environments.
  • Create and maintain test plans, automated suites, manual test packs, and client-specific test reports.
  • Communicate testing progress, automation coverage, risks, defect impact, and release readiness to stakeholders.
  • Support Smart TV and connected device setup, troubleshooting, test environment reliability, and Connected TV lab uptime.
  • Collaborate with QE engineers and developers to embed automation into CI/CD workflows and release pipelines.
  • Manage testing priorities across multiple concurrent client projects and represent quality standards in client-facing environments.

Requirements

  • Professional experience in software testing, quality engineering, and automation-led delivery.
  • Experience developing, executing, and maintaining automated test suites in fast-paced engineering environments.
  • Ability to write TypeScript to a good standard and apply programming languages within automation frameworks.
  • Experience testing APIs and using relevant testing tools.
  • Strong understanding of debugging principles and analytical investigation across devices and environments.
  • Knowledge of Git version control workflows and collaborative development practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD workflows and pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and modern QE practices.
  • Experience with issue-tracking tools such as GitLab, Qase, or Jira.
  • Confident communication and stakeholder-influencing skills in client-facing delivery contexts.
  • Ability to manage priorities across multiple concurrent projects and service engagements.
  • Experience contributing to Agile ceremonies, including refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Knowledge of Gherkin (preferred).
