Description

  • Develop geometry algorithms for the product.
  • Work on computational optimisation and algorithmic performance.
  • Build internal tools to support product development.
  • Contribute to cloud and backend engineering work.
  • Write primarily C# code for the standalone product.
  • Develop code that interacts with the product’s 3D engine.
  • Collaborate directly with the Product Lead and technical specialists.
  • Work with in-house Unreal specialists on interface-related work.
  • Adapt responsibilities over time based on evolving priorities, skills, and interests.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of expert or advanced C# experience; C# is the primary and non-substitutable language.
  • 2+ years of AWS experience, or experience with Azure/GCP plus willingness to learn AWS.
  • 3+ years of AEC computational design or geometry experience, or comparable experience in manufacturing, robotics, CAD, simulation, or games.
  • 2–3 years of applied computational optimisation experience, or a strong applied mathematics/algorithms background with optimisation experience.
  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience at mid-to-senior level.
  • 1–2 years of Unity, Unreal, or other 3D game engine experience is preferred.
  • Understanding of 3D vector maths, mesh geometry, rendering, and shaders is preferred.
  • Unity experience is useful in the short term, and Unreal experience is useful longer term as the interface transitions.
  • Experience in adjacent computational or algorithmic design domains is acceptable as a substitute for some direct AEC experience.
