Description

  • Develop data and cloud migration frameworks for Snowflake and Azure.
  • Assist with migrating on-premise software assets to cloud platforms.
  • Maintain and improve software solutions and infrastructure.
  • Develop new solutions and enhance existing applications.
  • Establish software and data engineering best practices for cloud deployment and asset management.
  • Gather requirements, validate understanding, and maintain documentation.
  • Design, develop, test, and deliver assigned projects while participating in Agile ceremonies.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers to address user needs and improve solutions.
  • Own projects from technical design through successful launch.
  • Participate in code reviews, technology investigations, status reporting, estimation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience with Python, REST APIs, and SQL.
  • Expertise with Git source control tools such as GitHub or GitLab.
  • Experience with unit testing, particularly Pytest.
  • Intermediate design proficiency using UML, C4, or ArchiMate.
  • Experience engineering medium- to large-scale software systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and the SDLC.
  • Proficiency with relational databases and scalable frontend/backend applications.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Knowledge of Python web frameworks, workflow orchestration platforms, and Python package managers is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HTTP, JSON/XML, software composition analysis platforms, AI coding agents, and object-oriented programming is preferred.
