Description

  • Define and enforce the architectural strategy for the Conduct platform in alignment with product vision and long-term evolution.
  • Make and defend high-impact architecture decisions with multi-year implications.
  • Lead structural changes needed to support scale, extensibility, new communication channels, and AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Partner with Product Management to translate customer and market needs into durable architectural requirements.
  • Align Engineering, Product, Compliance, and customer-facing leaders on architectural trade-offs and investment priorities.
  • Design resilient, secure-by-design, auditable systems for global enterprise deployments and petabyte-scale data volumes.
  • Translate regulatory and compliance requirements into concrete architectural patterns and controls.
  • Establish governed integration patterns for AI services within Conduct workflows.
  • Prototype, validate, and review architectural approaches through hands-on technical work.
  • Troubleshoot production-scale performance, scalability, and distributed systems issues while mentoring engineers.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in software engineering and architecture, with advancement into senior technical leadership roles such as Principal Engineer, Staff Engineer, or Lead Architect.
  • Proven ownership of architecture for large-scale, distributed, multi-service platforms serving enterprise customers.
  • Experience contributing directly to design, implementation, and delivery within a product engineering team.
  • Strong command of event-driven architectures, data-intensive systems, and large-scale ingestion and processing pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with Java, Kafka or equivalent event streaming technologies, and microservices design patterns.
  • Experience designing and operating cloud-native systems on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including compute, storage, networking, identity, and managed data services.
  • Deep understanding of secure-by-design principles, encryption, IAM, data protection, and regulatory frameworks for regulated industries.
  • Demonstrated leadership in modernization, re-architecture, or structural platform evolution initiatives.
  • Experience designing systems at enterprise data scale, including petabyte-scale or equivalent volumes.
  • Background in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments such as financial services, fintech, or payments.
  • Practical experience integrating AI/ML or LLM-based services into distributed systems.
  • Ability to influence without authority and communicate technical trade-offs clearly to senior technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $200,000 to $230,000 per year.
