Description

  • Conduct high-volume prospecting and lead generation within the assigned territory to identify new government-segment customers.
  • Engage prospective clients by phone and web conference to present Smarsh products and value proposition.
  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly bookings goals and sales quotas.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation and closing.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and opportunity updates throughout the sales process.
  • Keep Salesforce records and opportunity notes accurate and up to date.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Share industry regulation changes and updates with the client base as needed.
  • Use sales tools such as Salesforce, LISN, Outreach.io, and ZoomInfo to prospect and manage pipeline.
  • Maintain territory account coverage and prioritize time effectively to meet KPIs and continue sales/product learning.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of SLED procurement processes and regulations.
  • Experience responding to SLED government requests.
  • Demonstrated sustained success or over-achievement in a sales role.
  • Experience managing the entire sales cycle, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and/or hosted technology services is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent customer service and telephone manner.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com or working knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong diagnosis and problem-solving abilities.

Benefits

  • Remote full-time role.
  • Base salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per year.
  • Bonus programs may be available and will be discussed during recruiting.
  • Salary is determined using factors such as experience, education, location, specialty, and training.
