Description

  • Oversee program finances from proposal through completion, including cost planning, revenue forecasting, and EAC management.
  • Perform variance cost and price analysis and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with FAR, CAS, DFARS, and other government contracting regulations.
  • Develop and maintain government cost structures, including indirect costs and burden rates such as fringe, overhead, and G&A.
  • Partner with Program Managers, Contracts, Growth, Product, and Executive Leadership on pricing, forecasting, and negotiations.
  • Support revenue recognition determinations in accordance with ASC 606.
  • Oversee billing processes, including milestone and progress billings.
  • Support completion of annual Incurred Cost Submissions (ICS) and monthly financial CDRLs.
  • Administer project setup and cost plans in NetSuite and train team members on program finance and system usage.
  • Prepare labor utilization reports, resource planning metrics, and financial dashboards for leadership decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Program Finance.
  • Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).
  • Strong knowledge of FAR, CAS, and government contracting principles.
  • Understanding of Forward Pricing Rate Proposals (FPRPs) and compliant rate development under FAR, DFARS, and CAS.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite ERP system.
  • Experience with EAC reviews, revenue forecasting, and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
  • Familiarity with provisional billing rates, incurred cost submissions, and proposal pricing.
  • Ability to interpret contracts and assist in Statement of Work (SoW) development.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Prior experience supporting DCAA/DCMA audits or reviews is highly desirable.
  • Financial experience in the aerospace/defense industry is preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills are preferred.
