Description

  • Lead, develop, and mentor a team of Finance Business Partners to build a high-performance culture.
  • Design, implement, and embed a scalable Finance Business Partnering model across business units.
  • Own the budgeting, long-range planning, re-forecasting, and monthly performance review cycles.
  • Present financial insights and recommendations to the executive team and the Board.
  • Support fundraising activities by preparing investor materials and engaging stakeholders.
  • Partner with Product, Technology, Operations, and Commercial teams on strategic initiatives, pricing, investment cases, and go-to-market decisions.
  • Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to improve transparency and track performance.
  • Refine forecasting models, financial tools, and planning processes using best-practice FP&A methods.
  • Ensure strong governance, consistent standards, and a robust control environment within the FP&A team.

Requirements

  • Extensive FP&A leadership experience, ideally in a high-growth, technology-led, or financial services environment.
  • Experience in a start-up or scale-up environment, ideally within a SaaS company.
  • Proven success building and managing Finance Business Partnering teams.
  • Strong coaching capability and commitment to developing talent.
  • Corporate finance experience with the ability to support investor engagement and produce high-quality financial materials.
  • Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders with strong commercial acumen.
  • Deep expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
  • Experience implementing planning systems, reporting tools, and performance management frameworks.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • An accountancy qualification such as CIMA, ACA, or ACCA is desirable.
