Description

  • Manage and develop a team of field and event managers, including establishing operating norms and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Own the events and field marketing budget, including planning, forecasting, and spend tracking across programs.
  • Execute the regional third-party event program end to end, from preparation and activation through follow-up and reporting.
  • Build and implement the owned field event program using established processes and playbooks.
  • Develop and lead a multi-city roadshow that deepens buyer and influencer understanding of the product value.
  • Partner with sales and go-to-market leadership to prioritize markets, build account-level intelligence, and create coordinated field plans.
  • Work with executives to design in-person experiences that expand relationships within target accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal thought leaders to develop content plans aligned to corporate messaging and positioning.
  • Drive coordinated pre- and post-event multi-channel activations to maximize event impact.
  • Report on event performance and identify improvements and opportunities to accelerate results.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of related experience, including at least 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • 7+ years of event management and field marketing experience, including managing individual contributors.
  • Experience building scalable operational frameworks and leading complex cross-functional programs.
  • Strong analytical, data-driven mindset with experience using marketing analytics tools and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling content and messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Experience working with global, remote teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support regional marketing events and initiatives.
  • Deep event experience in the DevOps industry.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales dynamics.

Benefits

  • Target base salary of $152,000-$210,000 in Zone 1, $137,000-$189,000 in Zone 2, or $129,000-$178,000 in Zone 3.
  • All zones include a 10% bonus target.
