Description

Define metrics and review processes to make maintenance quality visible and prioritize systemic issues.
Establish inspection criteria, acceptance requirements, and return-to-service controls for maintenance work.
Lead nonconformance and corrective-action efforts from containment through root-cause analysis, ownership, verification, and recurrence prevention.
Build and continuously improve the maintenance Quality Management System, including standards, governance, document control, audits, and reporting.
Create reporting on repair effectiveness by repair type for maintenance management and executive leadership.
Translate quality findings into improvements to procedures, training, tooling, parts, and design through collaboration with partner teams.
Reduce repeat repairs, downtime, and process variation across maintenance operations.

Requirements

3–7 years of experience in maintenance quality, operational quality, reliability, field service, or a related discipline supporting complex, field-deployed hardware.
Field credibility and technical curiosity with the ability to understand complex mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical systems.
Experience influencing cross-functional teams and driving change without adding unnecessary process or bureaucracy.
Strong knowledge of root-cause analysis and structured problem-solving methods such as 5 Whys, fishbone analysis, 8D, or fault-tree analysis.
Proficiency in SQL and data-analysis/visualization tools such as Python, Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or ThoughtSpot.
Ability to define useful measures, work with imperfect operational data, and determine whether a fix worked.
Strong command of audits, nonconformance management, corrective action, change control, and effectiveness verification.
Excellent program management and follow-through, including assigning ownership, managing risks, escalating when needed, and closing actions on time.
Willingness to travel to maintenance sites and work directly with technicians and operational teams.
Experience leveraging AI tools for data analysis and visualization, light-code user interfaces, and information synthesis (preferred).
Working knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar regulated frameworks (preferred).
Experience leading continuous-improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methods (preferred).
