Description

  • Deliver the Exposure Management strategy for SiriusPoint Group and all legal entities, including SIMA.
  • Oversee exposure management data capture, aggregations, concentration analysis, and reporting procedures.
  • Lead the development of exposure management processes and tools for new and existing lines of business.
  • Provide information, insights, and analytics on individual risks and portfolio exposures to the business.
  • Monitor accumulation risk against Group and legal entity limits and thresholds.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the exposure management framework, including policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Provide exposure management feeds and validation for the Group and Syndicate Capital Models.
  • Prepare exposure management reports for Lloyd’s, regulatory returns, committees, the Board, and third parties.
  • Respond to inquiries from regulators and rating agencies.
  • Represent the Exposure Management function internally and externally at committees and forums as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills with experience delivering analytics to executive management, including the Executive Leadership Team, P&L Leaders, and Product Heads.
  • Proven track record of developing, implementing, and maintaining effective solutions in exposure management.
  • Thorough working knowledge of catastrophe modelling systems processes and procedures.
  • Experience with modelling, data, and exposure tracking platforms such as Sequel Impact, Praedicat, Skytek, or Orchestra is preferred.
  • Understanding of appropriate classes of insurance, with experience in non-modelled lines of business and Realistic Disaster Scenario (RDS) modelling preferred.
  • Demonstrable skills with analytical tools, technologies, and SQL programming; additional programming experience in R, Python, or VBA is a bonus.
  • Experience working in a regulated company, with a solid understanding of Lloyd’s and PRA/FCA regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Ability to collaborate and build trusted working relationships with stakeholders and team members.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with multiple stakeholders in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving skills, and a keen focus on accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail.
