Description

  • Assist the service manager with day-to-day service center operations.
  • Manage and develop service team members, including advisors, technicians, service assistants, and parts staff.
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide consistent feedback to drive results.
  • Support selection, training, and development of service employees.
  • Manage timecards and schedules for service center team members.
  • Handle customer service interactions, reporting, and repairs.
  • Address client concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure work orders are detailed, complete, and properly filled out.
  • Monitor workflow to ensure vehicles are repaired and returned on time.
  • Perform quality control checks on vehicles after repairs are completed.

Requirements

  • Automotive service experience with knowledge of key KPIs such as CSI, repair completion time, days down, and PDI completion/turnaround time.
  • Learning agility and a willingness to take on more responsibility toward a management role.
  • Self-starter mindset with curiosity and a desire to improve processes.
  • Strong collaboration, motivation, and leadership ability with individuals, groups, and vendors.
  • Track record of excellence in customer service.
  • Strong organization and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and learn proprietary DMS software.
  • Ability to travel on an as-needed basis.
  • Willingness to complete Lucid-provided CPR training after hire.
  • Valid driver’s license with no suspensions in the past year; drivers under 21 must have held a license for at least 3 years and complete Lucid training upon hire.
  • AA/BS in Automotive Technology or Business Management, or equivalent work experience (preferred).
  • Knowledge of HV systems, LV systems, and EV powertrains (preferred).
  • Start-up experience in fast-paced environments (preferred).
  • Previous OEM-specific EV experience and training (preferred).
  • ASE certifications (preferred).
  • EPA 609 certification (preferred).
