Description

Own the full product loop from AI-augmented discovery through story/spec writing, prototype development, production PRs, and outcome measurement.
Conduct customer discovery and synthesize insights from tickets, interviews, behavioral data, and competitive signals using AI tools.
Demonstrate deep functional and technical understanding of owned products and present demos to merchants and partners.
Analyze product metrics, identify usage patterns and anomalies, and define success metrics and kill thresholds at the spec stage.
Maintain a prioritized roadmap based on impact and speed, incorporating competitive intelligence, market trends, and customer feedback.
Evaluate proposed solutions against ShipBob’s architecture, including service boundaries, data structures, and API contracts.
Write clear story/specs, review AI-generated code, and route changes through a prototype-then-PR workflow.
Set experiment hypotheses and make rollout or kill decisions based on day-7 data.
Translate merchant, marketplace, B2B, and returns requirements into sortation capabilities across the fulfillment lifecycle.
Partner with Operations, Process Engineering, and Transportation to drive adoption and improve sortation performance metrics.

Requirements

5+ years of product management, product engineering, or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated hands-on use of AI tools in a professional context.
Ability to write precise story/specs that AI tools can act on directly, including state machines, business rules, data contracts, and edge cases.
Technical fluency to read a data model, evaluate an API contract, and spot when AI-generated code diverges from the target architecture.
Track record of shipping working prototypes or production code, not just Figma mocks or slide decks.
Strong ownership of outcomes, including setting success metrics and kill thresholds at spec time and tracking them after launch.
Experience in supply chain, fulfillment, logistics, transportation, or e-commerce technology.
Sortation technology experience is a strong plus.
Comfort operating in a fail-fast culture.
Excellent written communication.
Hands-on experience with the AI development toolchain, such as Claude Code, Driver.ai, Cursor, Replit, V0, or Figma AI, is preferred.
Working knowledge of TypeScript, React, or Python is preferred.
Experience with warehouse management systems, order management, carrier integration, or fulfillment operations at scale is preferred.
Prior experience transitioning a product team from traditional SDLC to an AI-native operating model is preferred.
