Description

  • Design software applications and features in Golang and React.
  • Build and support solutions within a distributed architecture while maintaining consistency at scale.
  • Collaborate with Product, Support, business stakeholders, and other engineering teams to design products and solve internal and customer problems.
  • Develop new features and deliver high-quality software that meets testing and reporting standards.
  • Collect and analyze metrics to drive continuous improvement of existing products.
  • Lead small development teams on projects when needed.
  • Mentor engineering teammates and help raise their skills and knowledge.
  • Iterate on solutions based on feedback from internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
  • Experience bringing new ideas and building consensus on technical direction.
  • Experience building and serving REST APIs using Go, preferably, or Java, Python, or a similar language.
  • Experience working in distributed, cloud-based architectures.
  • Experience with architectural patterns or messaging tools such as transactional outboxes, RabbitMQ, SQS, or Kafka.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
  • Experience with SQL-based RDBMS through an ORM tool, preferred.
  • Experience using observability tools such as Prometheus, New Relic, or Datadog, preferred.
  • DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferred.
  • Familiarity with containerized microservice architecture deployed with Kubernetes on AWS, preferred.
  • History of delivering commercial APIs and web applications, preferred.
  • Track record of getting products to market and prioritizing work based on stakeholder and customer feedback, preferred.
