Description

Design software applications and features in Golang and React.
Help build and scale a distributed architecture while maintaining consistency and performance.
Collaborate with Product, Support, business stakeholders, and other engineering teams to design and deliver solutions.
Develop new features and deliver high-quality, testable software that meets reporting standards.
Develop and track metrics to drive continuous improvement of existing products.
Lead small development teams on projects as needed.
Mentor teammates and help elevate their skills and knowledge.
Review feedback and iterate on solutions to better support internal users and customers.

Requirements

At least 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience.
Experience bringing new ideas and building consensus on technical direction.
Experience building and serving REST APIs using Go, Java, Python, or a similar language.
Experience working in distributed, cloud-based architectures, including transactional outbox patterns or messaging tools such as RabbitMQ, SQS, or Kafka.
Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience with SQL-based RDBMS through an ORM tool is preferred.
Experience using observability platforms such as Prometheus, New Relic, or Datadog for monitoring and alerting is preferred.
DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
Familiarity with containerized microservice architecture deployed with Kubernetes on AWS is preferred.
Demonstrated history of delivering commercial APIs and web applications is preferred.
Strong record of shipping products and prioritizing improvements based on stakeholder and customer feedback is preferred.
