Description

  • Own and build new features for the cross-platform TypeScript React Native app and Golang backend APIs.
  • Manage mobile releases using cohorting, feature flags, and app store infrastructure to support safe rollouts.
  • Partner with product, design, business, backend, and QA stakeholders to evaluate and meet requirements.
  • Write clean, scalable, robust, and testable code across the mobile application stack.
  • Develop deep working knowledge of the application, data domain, and key performance indicators.
  • Lead features end-to-end from requirements and design through implementation, deployment, monitoring, and improvement.
  • Perform high-quality code reviews and help improve maintainability, clarity, and best practices.
  • Mentor junior or mid-level engineers and drive technical decisions that raise team-wide code quality.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional mobile development experience, including at least 2+ years with React Native or similar technology such as Flutter.
  • Experience working with native iOS code using Swift or Objective-C and native Android code using Kotlin or Java.
  • Experience developing and shipping a mobile application to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Strong understanding of React Native architecture, hooks, context, navigation patterns, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing tools such as Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, and Appium.
  • Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines such as Fastlane, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science.
  • Ability to solve problems with backend-focused languages like Go, Python, Java, or similar.
  • Experience with microservice architecture composed of HTTP APIs, native mobile code, or both is preferred.
