Description

  • Design scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions for Google Cloud environments.
  • Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and assess their impact on organizational goals.
  • Drive adoption of DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, and automation frameworks.
  • Optimize application performance and reliability in cloud environments.
  • Design secure cloud architectures using zero-trust and defense-in-depth principles.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
  • Implement identity and access management solutions and security monitoring frameworks.
  • Facilitate customer onboarding and support cloud adoption pathways.
  • Assess legacy systems and develop modernization and migration strategies, including containerization and microservices.
  • Manage and optimize cloud environments, networking, VPNs, IaaS, PaaS, SQL systems, and shared services.
  • Implement and maintain tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, and Guacamole to support DevSecOps.
  • Configure and troubleshoot cloud, virtual, and physical hardware and software systems.
  • Establish and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases for performance and reliability.
  • Prepare technical documentation, security assessments, and vulnerability remediation actions.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, security, and product teams to define architectures, patterns, and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience, or additional experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Active Secret clearance required.
  • US citizenship required.
  • At least 1 cloud certification required.
  • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (IAT-2) required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Experience onboarding customer log data from cloud platforms to Elastic, Splunk, or similar analysis environments.
  • Cloud architecture and design experience required.
  • Experience with USAF Cloud One or Platform 1 preferred.
  • Experience with Zero Trust Architecture preferred.
  • Customer-facing and customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory, Azure AD, SAML, and related standards and processes preferred.
  • Experience with Ansible, AWS console, Elastic, AWS, Azure, Jira, Confluence, Git, Bitbucket, and cloud SaaS offerings preferred.
  • Administration experience with cloud-based applications such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure AD, and AWS preferred.
  • Experience administering Windows Server and related services preferred.
  • Google Cloud certifications preferred.
