Description

  • Surface and analyze customer business requirements.
  • Translate requirements into architectural designs and influence deployment of key infrastructure components.
  • Design, build, configure, and maintain AWS subscriptions/tenants.
  • Plan and execute end-to-end implementations for target workloads.
  • Develop and support CI/CD pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot AWS and Linux issues as the subject matter expert.
  • Optimize the cost and performance of server and cloud resources.
  • Maintain knowledge of existing and emerging Azure technologies and help customers evaluate and adopt them.
  • Provide technical guidance on selected technologies such as infrastructure as code, AKS, VMware, Linux, databases, security, virtual desktop, and AWS.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of Linux OS and supported technologies and systems.
  • Strong AWS cloud experience and expertise.
  • Strong Azure cloud experience and expertise.
  • Experience with core AWS and Azure platforms, including compute, storage, networking, virtual machines, IAM, security and compliance, federation, and infrastructure.
  • Experience with AWS Government or Azure Government is highly desired.
  • Kubernetes and container experience is highly desired.
  • Governance experience is preferred.
  • Linux system administration experience, including OS management, patching, and application management.
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu, and GNOME is desired.
  • Linux technical certifications are preferred, especially for cloud-scale system administration.
  • AWS technical certifications are preferred, especially in the core AWS technology stack.
  • Azure technical certifications are preferred, especially in the core Microsoft cloud technology stack.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required federal clearance, including up to a 10-year background investigation, and US citizenship is required.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $120,000 to $210,000 per year.
  • Compensation may vary based on experience, clearance level, industry background, education, and training.
