Description

  • Develop territory plans and sales strategies with the Clinical Diabetes Specialist to meet or exceed territory goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, advanced practitioners, diabetes educators, and key institutions to drive product adoption.
  • Promote Sequel products by supporting a successful experience for both healthcare providers and users.
  • Discuss and demonstrate Sequel products with a high level of diabetes and therapeutic expertise.
  • Collaborate with customer care and sales support to improve the user experience and resolve issues.
  • Share healthcare provider feedback cross-functionally to inform problem-solving and product development.
  • Represent Sequel at conventions, educational forums, and local diabetes organizations to increase awareness.
  • Manage leads and opportunities in the CRM daily and complete required product training documentation.
  • For Senior Territory Business Leader candidates, assist with field sales training, mentor junior staff, and participate in internal advisory boards.
  • For Senior Territory Business Leader candidates, lead weekly team calls and regional or area meetings as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of sales experience with a demonstrated history of success.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must live within the assigned geography.
  • Ability to commute daily by car, including extended driving and occasional overnight travel.
  • Ability to carry and transport professional samples and literature.
  • 4+ years of sales experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries required for the Senior TBL role.
  • Experience in diabetes and selling automated insulin devices preferred.
  • Strong relationships with endocrinologists strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strategic problem-solving, data analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate effectively, and execute sales and marketing plans while managing a territory budget.
  • For Senior TBL candidates: multiple years of meeting or exceeding sales goals, recognition for sales excellence, leadership or mentoring experience, conference representation experience, and demonstrated career progression.
  • Environmental and physical requirements include use of office equipment, extended hours during peak cycles, possible lifting requirements, and some travel.
