Description

  • Partner with Marketing, Product, and Business stakeholders to design, build, and operate the marketing and web experience stack.
  • Own end-to-end engineering across Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including reusable templates, observability, journeys, automations, and CloudPages.
  • Architect and maintain integrations with CRM, CDP, data lakehouse, Snowflake, and other upstream/downstream systems using APIs, connectors, ETL/ELT, and eventing.
  • Define reliability standards, data integrity checks, and event-driven pipelines for marketing systems.
  • Design and enforce deliverability strategy, including sender reputation, DMARC, list hygiene, complaints, and bounce governance.
  • Architect CMS component libraries and secure capture patterns, while leading accessibility, performance, and SEO strategy.
  • Define tracking, attribution, and analytics frameworks across journeys, web experiences, and experiments, including QA and data fidelity.
  • Lead segmentation and audience architecture discussions, including metric governance and QA gates.
  • Serve as a compliance engineering subject matter expert and partner with Legal and Security on risk controls.
  • Own security posture, coding and testing standards, CI/CD practices, audit readiness, and process improvements for marketing systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent education and work experience.
  • 6+ years of software engineering experience with increasing technical breadth and responsibility.
  • 5+ years of experience troubleshooting and training on enterprise email marketing platforms, with SFMC preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience implementing Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions, including complex cross-feature implementations.
  • Experience building pages, microsites, forms, and form processing.
  • Expert-level HTML/CSS for email, JavaScript, AMPscript/SSJS, and SQL skills.
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud APIs, Data Extensions, and Marketing Cloud SFTP.
  • Experience following CI/CD, version control, and test automation practices.
  • CMS expertise in WordPress and Drupal, with Webflow experience preferred.
  • Production experience integrating marketing platforms with CRM, CDP, and data lake systems, along with strong data modeling and ETL/ELT skills.
