Description

  • Own end-to-end product management for BigQuery Connectors, Looker dashboards, and AI Agents from requirements through QA, documentation, and ongoing health monitoring.
  • Define product specs and acceptance criteria in partnership with division leaders and subject matter experts.
  • Monitor product health, usage metrics, and production incidents, and respond to issues with urgency.
  • Decide what to productize, sunset, maintain, or optimize across the product portfolio.
  • Own the sprint planning process end-to-end in partnership with a Project Manager.
  • Oversee data engineer hours, priorities, backlog prioritization, capacity planning, and sprint completion accountability.
  • Balance new development, maintenance, and custom client work across multiple product lines.
  • Execute the productization of validated R&D innovations with the Director of Engineering & Product.
  • Maintain cross-functional relationships with R&D, division leads, Marketing, and AI Strategy, and serve as the main point of contact for timelines and questions.
  • Manage Product Managers, conduct performance reviews, and support career development and team growth.

Requirements

  • Hands-on product management experience, including writing specs, testing features, and maintaining documentation.
  • Experience with data-intensive products and comfort discussing pipelines, APIs, and architecture with engineers.
  • Experience running agile sprint planning, owning backlogs, managing capacity, and meeting committed sprint goals.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities across multiple product lines without sacrificing velocity or quality.
  • Comfort making decisions with incomplete information in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical constraints into plain language for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience managing or mentoring team members.
  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate research, analysis, or product work.
  • Familiarity with BigQuery, Looker, or similar data platforms as a product owner, preferred.
  • Experience shipping AI agent products or agentic workflows in production, preferred.
  • Experience defining production-ready standards or productization playbooks from scratch, preferred.
  • Agency or consulting background where client needs and product roadmap work had to coexist, preferred.
  • Must be based in the US and able to work continental US-based hours.
