Description

  • Work across several engineering teams to identify priorities and guide product decisions.
  • Organize customer and product feedback into clear requirements and success criteria.
  • Lead products through experimentation, beta, and general availability stages.
  • Spend significant time with customers, engineering leaders, and developers to understand needs and workflows.
  • Translate customer problems into product specifications, prioritization, and launch plans.
  • Support marketing and go-to-market teams with product positioning and enablement.
  • Make pragmatic prioritization decisions across customer requests, product investments, and technical work.
  • Develop scalable systems for discovery, feedback management, pricing and packaging, and iteration.
  • Represent Product and Engineering across the company and communicate product value clearly.
  • Help define broader product strategy for developer and AI-agent workflows on large codebases.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, including experience in an early-stage company, startup, or similarly fast-moving organization.
  • Previous professional software engineering experience or substantial hands-on coding experience.
  • Experience building technical products for developers, engineering teams, or similarly technical users.
  • Experience working directly with customers through discovery, development, beta testing, and launch.
  • Experience translating customer problems and technical concepts into clear product requirements and specifications.
  • Experience prioritizing work across multiple teams, stakeholders, and competing customer needs.
  • Ability to operate as the primary Product Manager across several engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of software development workflows, Git, source control, and modern developer tooling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with engineers and customers.
  • Ability to use qualitative feedback, product data, and strategic context to make pragmatic decisions.
  • Ability to work with significant Eastern Time overlap; at least 20 hours/week overlap is required.
  • Preferred locations are EST or Europe, though candidates can apply from almost anywhere.
  • Experience building products involving AI agents, coding assistants, code generation, or large language models is a plus.
  • Experience with developer tools, code search, code intelligence, compilers, IDEs, or large-scale code transformation is preferred.
  • Experience working with enterprise customers and complex software development organizations is preferred.
  • Comfort writing code and contributing to a production codebase is a plus.

Benefits

  • Base salary starts at $167,200 USD in Zone 2, $125,400 USD in Zone 3, or $83,600 USD in Zone 4.
