Description

  • Define and own the roadmap for recommendation, ranking, and personalization across the user experience.
  • Translate model outputs and behavioral science insights into a shippable recommendation experience.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize personalization opportunities tied to company goals.
  • Write product requirements, including tailoring rules, delivery constraints, and success criteria.
  • Drive launch readiness by sequencing dependencies and ensuring instrumentation and guardrails are in place.
  • Define primary and supporting KPIs and align stakeholders on success metrics.
  • Design experiments with Behavioral Science and connect results to product decisions.
  • Monitor production recommendation performance and address regressions or drift.
  • Partner with ML engineering on ranking, retrieval, recommendation architecture, and technical trade-offs.
  • Align engineering, design, content, and behavioral science teams on scope, timing, risks, and progress.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience.
  • Meaningful experience owning recommendation, ranking, personalization, search, or feed products.
  • BS/MS in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related preferred.
  • MBA a plus.
  • Working knowledge of ranking, collaborative filtering, contextual bandits, or content-based recommendation approaches.
  • Familiarity with personalization at scale.
  • Comfort with A/B testing, experiment design, statistical significance, and KPI frameworks.
  • Ability to work closely with ML engineers and data scientists on model performance, feature engineering, and system architecture.
  • Track record of leading ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives end to end.
  • Experience in health tech, digital health, wellness, wearables, or consumer subscription products strongly preferred.
