Description

  • Lead the design and development of complex software systems and platform architecture.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver software features.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers on best practices and technical growth.
  • Drive technical innovation and help introduce new technologies and frameworks.
  • Build and debug reliable, maintainable, and extensible applications from browser to database.
  • Collaborate through pair programming, code reviews, and actionable feedback.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, reduce technical debt, and refactor code.
  • Plan work effectively, prioritize deliverables, and provide accurate estimates.
  • Engage with customers to understand feature rationale and user pain points.
  • Promote unit testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent experience, in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of professional software development experience designing, building, and evolving complex software systems.
  • Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Expertise in one or more programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Rust, or C++.
  • Expertise in backend development for data-intensive applications.
  • Experience with databases such as Postgres or MySQL.
  • Experience with backend technologies such as Kotlin, Node.js, or GraphQL is preferred.
  • Deep expertise in at least one area of databases, distributed computing, or cloud platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and collaboration skills in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Must be authorized to work in the country of residence; Seeq does not sponsor US F1 or H-1B visas.

  • Competitive salary plus bonus incentives, with compensation listed at $144,000 to $200,000 USD depending on level.
