Description

  • Manage designers through 1:1s, performance reviews, career planning, and retention initiatives.
  • Run and improve Agile design ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and design reviews.
  • Remain hands-on in end-to-end product design, from discovery and wireframes through UI and production handoff.
  • Review and critique design work to improve quality, consistency, and accessibility.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, UX Research, and business stakeholders on roadmaps, priorities, and scope.
  • Integrate usability testing and behavioral analytics into design decisions, personas, journey maps, and iterations.
  • Champion AI-augmented workflows using Figma AI, Claude, and emerging design tools.
  • Build growth plans, provide actionable feedback, and foster a transparent, psychologically safe team culture.
  • Build, govern, and scale design processes, tracking systems, and the Design System.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of UX/Product Design experience, including 3+ years managing designers.
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong product design craft and people leadership.
  • Experience running Agile/Scrum ceremonies and integrating design into product development cycles.
  • End-to-end product design experience, from discovery and wireframing through high-fidelity UI and production handoff.
  • Advanced Figma skills, including component architecture, auto-layout, variables, and prototyping.
  • Experience building, governing, and scaling Design Systems.
  • Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.2 and inclusive design practices.
  • Experience using FullStory, Pendo, Amplitude, or similar analytics alongside usability testing.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across Product, Engineering, and executive audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Agile certification or Scrum Master/agile lead experience preferred.
  • Experience with B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, enterprise platforms, JIRA-based tracking, AI-augmented design workflows, or organizational transformation preferred.

  • Estimated total compensation of $185,000–$230,000, including base salary and bonus.
