Description

  • Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop a team of Customer Success Managers.
  • Manage performance, professional growth, and day-to-day guidance for direct reports.
  • Define, track, and improve team KPIs such as retention, expansion opportunities, and health scores.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for critical customer issues and high-stakes meetings.
  • Provide executive presence and help resolve complex customer roadblocks.
  • Keep the team current on cybersecurity trends, third-party risk management, and platform best practices.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering to advocate for customer needs and align with company priorities.
  • Identify gaps in the customer journey and build scalable playbooks to improve the customer experience.
  • Use operational insights to support retention and account growth across the team’s book of business.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals and cloud technology, with third-party risk management program knowledge as a plus.
  • BA/BS/MS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical account manager, customer success manager, sales engineer, technical support, or similar customer-facing role.
  • 3+ years of management experience.
  • 7+ years of total professional experience.
  • Experience working with C-level executives in meetings, presentations, and collaborative discussions.
  • Ability to manage or mentor people and build a culture of accountability and empathy.
  • Ability to engage in technical discussions and translate value for senior decision-makers.
  • Comfort using CRM and customer success tools such as Salesforce or Gainsight.
  • Consultative mindset with the ability to uncover business needs and align technical solutions to organizational goals.
