Description

  • Prospect and engage senior decision-makers in Information Security and Risk teams across Japan.
  • Drive business growth across large enterprise accounts in the Japanese market.
  • Present and position SecurityScorecard’s solutions to prospects and customers.
  • Use existing relationships and local market knowledge to develop new opportunities.
  • Work closely with prospects, customers, and internal teams to support adoption and growth.
  • Report to the Japan Country Manager and contribute to regional sales goals.
  • Apply a consultative, customer-first approach to uncover customer needs and solve problems.
  • Manage account planning, strategic selling, pipeline development, and forecasting.
  • Leverage partners and the channel in Japan to support sales efforts.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with a focus on hunting and new business acquisition.
  • 5+ years of experience selling cybersecurity solutions.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota, especially with $1M+ ARR targets.
  • Experience closing 6- and 7-figure deals with enterprise clients in Japan.
  • Strong local network within Japan’s security and risk community.
  • Native-level Japanese and fluent English preferred.
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems and sales tools.
  • Deep understanding of business practices and buying cycles in Japan.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to lead conversations.
  • Proficiency in structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPIC.
  • Effective verbal and written communication, including in cross-cultural contexts.
  • Experience with account planning, strategic selling, and channel/partner sales in Japan.

Benefits

  • Estimated total compensation range of $160,000 - $190,000 with a 50/50 split.
  • Uncapped commission structure.
