Description

  • Own the company’s market narrative, competitive positioning, messaging frameworks, and value propositions.
  • Translate policy, funding, and regulatory changes into updated market positioning quickly.
  • Lead win/loss analysis, competitive battlecards, and sales enablement for positioning.
  • Own acquisition campaigns, conversion optimization, and funnel performance across digital marketing efforts.
  • Build, test, iterate, and refine campaigns with the team when needed.
  • Lead response strategy for RFPs and jump in to write, edit, and refine proposals to improve quality and speed.
  • Track and improve metrics such as win rates, proposal scores, time-to-response, CAC, conversions, and pipeline generated.
  • Own event strategy and support event execution, including logistics, booth staffing, post-event analysis, and lead follow-up.
  • Evaluate event performance and discontinue underperforming events based on pipeline and spend efficiency.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading marketing organizations, ideally in enterprise software, SaaS, or education technology.
  • Experience selling complex technology solutions to government entities with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building.
  • Strong commercial experience, ideally developed through product marketing and digital marketing.
  • Passion for revenue growth and startup culture, with a hands-on operating style.
  • Analytical and process-oriented mindset with strong attention to operational execution.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Willingness to be deeply involved in execution rather than primarily delegating strategy.
  • Ability to show specific metrics personally improved in previous roles.
  • Comfort working without heavy approval layers or relying on consensus for tactical marketing decisions.
