Description

  • Own key features and components within the Ecosystem Team.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, design, coding, unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Design and develop products using Spark, Splunk, Hadoop, Prometheus, and related technologies.
  • Design and implement automated tests for the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Instrument code to collect metrics for monitoring and supportability.
  • Investigate and resolve issues found in the CI pipeline or production.
  • Perform unit testing and code reviews.
  • Collaborate with backend and frontend teams, infrastructure teams, and domain teams.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on software development experience using Java, Golang, or C++.
  • Strong programming fundamentals in computer science and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with the Spring Framework.
  • Strong system design and object-oriented design skills.
  • Experience implementing REST APIs and integrating them with frontend applications and other services.
  • Understanding of networking and distributed system design.
  • Proficiency with Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Strong, concise communication skills to explain technical thinking.
  • Validated ability to deliver work on schedule.
  • BS or MS in Computer Science.
  • Experience developing in Spark and Hadoop environments is preferred.
  • Golang experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, or similar infrastructure software is preferred.
  • Experience deploying global services on AWS or Azure is preferred.
  • Experience working on enterprise-scale live services is preferred.
  • Understanding of deployment issues in complex environments, including security, networking, load balancers, service dependencies, and disaster recovery, is preferred.
  • Security and compliance awareness is preferred.
